Purpose of the job

Execute the maintenance plans and repair the technical and washing installations across multiple sites in the most efficient way, so that the technical condition of the washing installation is optimal and can be used by the end-users in a safe way. Providing all kinds of logistical and technical support for the site-based teams.

Key accountabilities

Maintaining all technical and washing installations
- Prepare and complete maintenance plans for multiple sites across the UK
- Leading the implementation of maintenance plans per site ensuring all actions are  completed
- Pro-actively making proposals regarding cost reductions, consumption, efficiency and safety
- Regular site meetings with management and technicians to identify reoccurring issues and - prepare resolutions
- Flexible and available to attend site for major breakdowns (next day if after 4pm)
Administrative follow up
- Stock management of parts and tools, ensuring the Maintenance Management System is  completed accurately
- Complete orders and source cost-effective suppliers
- Documentation and implementation of efficient maintenance plans

- Uptime of machines
- Maintenance costs
- Quality
- Functioning and technical condition of the washing installation is optimal
- Work process can proceed optimally
- UK production volumes
- Spares and tools inventory
- Machine condition and efficiency

Knowledge & Skills & Competences

- Experienced in executing maintenance tasks on automation and conveying equipment
- Secondary education/Bachelor's degree in Electricity, Mechanics, Electro-Mechanics or  equivalent level of education and training
- Experience of coaching and training teams
- Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressured environment
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft office – Word/Excel/Outlook
- Confident, highly organised with excellent problem-solving capability
